is there a Tl;dr

of what to do with this info?

Basically input the hp, cp, and dust cost, it'll help you make an educated guess at its level and tell you what cp it would have if it had perfect stats. That helps let you know if you want to level up the 500 cp beedrill all the way to a max of say 2400, or spend more time leveling up the 260 beedrill to say 2435.

Like he said it's pretty much strictly for perfectionists. Makes a pretty negligible difference in battles. The calculator is interesting though cuz it shows which Pokemon turn out to be strongest so you know who to spend dust on and who to ignore.

just caught a 989 Lapras lol

u can still use the tracker, the top left corner means closest, then bottom right corner means furthest.
so from left to right
1,2,3
4,5,6,
7,8,9,

just move and see if your pokemon u wanna catch is going closer to 1 or 9

ya i knew that part i had it in top left but still couldnt find it. seems like its gone now

Crowdsourced map of where people found certain Pokemon. Doesn't work terribly well because they're hitting traffic limits but they have an iOS app and are finishing an android app. Could be useful eventually if Google raises the limits.

Managed to take a few print screens before it crashed. There are Aerodactyl spawning on the ridge behind my apartment buildings. Guess imma go climb up there tomorrow.

Only put numbers into the blue columns, the rest will auto fill out.

It doesn't really matter right now as much unless you have special pokemon that you feel you'd like to take to the end game. It costs dust to do the experiment and there's a good chance the one you want to keep will be a low CP, so that's even more dust. You have limited dust, so you only want to do this with an exclusive group of pokemon.

Like DX said, punch in the numbers and you'll get an estimate. You have to power-up the pokemon and punch in the numbers a few times more to get a more accurate calculation.

The list broke for me the day the paws broke for me.

Now it just tells me what pokemon are nearby, there's no order anymore lol.

Waiting is the best way to go, IMO.

If you want to compete with the CP other people have around you, just try to level up fast so you spawn higher CP pokemon.

You don't want to spend a shitlod of dust upping a pokemon from 100cp to 2k only to find a 1.5k pokemon in the wild right after with better hidden stats.

Also remember to evolve first so you see their moves. Some moves are significantly better than others.
