is there a Tl;dr
of what to do with this info?
It doesn't really matter right now as much unless you have special pokemon that you feel you'd like to take to the end game. It costs dust to do the experiment and there's a good chance the one you want to keep will be a low CP, so that's even more dust. You have limited dust, so you only want to do this with an exclusive group of pokemon.
Like DX said, punch in the numbers and you'll get an estimate. You have to power-up the pokemon and punch in the numbers a few times more to get a more accurate calculation.

u can still use the tracker, the top left corner means closest, then bottom right corner means furthest.
so from left to right
1,2,3
4,5,6,
7,8,9,
just move and see if your pokemon u wanna catch is going closer to 1 or 9
The list broke for me the day the paws broke for me.
Now it just tells me what pokemon are nearby, there's no order anymore lol.
