I think even Dej would admit they aren't going to make it.

if tim thomas performs in his '11 shape, there's no injuries to key players (last year all were injured pretty much), the young kids step up - if gudbranson, kulikov, barkov, etc have a big impact, along with the development of huberdeau, i think florida got a chance.

but there's way too many ifs. florida can be a bubble team if everything goes right, but it probably won't

in the perfect storm, i think florida can make it. but most likely not, however, i expect a pick around 7-13 and not top5
