I think everyone does the lolhabs thing for several reasons:

- Habs fans tend to have a Holier than Thou attitude and hold themselves and their team to a higher standard.
- Habs fans are easily riled up.
- Habs fans seem to have an evolved state of homerism, the likes of which have never been seen before.
