Smgdh. Every year i say it, and ill say it again. NHL needs to televise the drawing, or get rid of the lottery altogether. No lottery works for the NFL, and the NBA having only 2 rounds, i get the need for a lottery, but the NHL is right in between the two and just going back to no lottery or only a drawing for #1 (which used to be televised) would be best. This new method of 3 drawings behind closed doors where the only info you get is the odds and results just isnt working.

Oh well, atleast the NHL has basically guaranteed we'll have best odds again next year, just so they can rip it away once again. Fun.

Lol, I’m not one to say that the game is rigged, refs etc, but the league itself definitely tries to rig it. Hawks and Rags out of the playoffs? Habs too? Let’s fabricate a play in tourney to give the big money teams a second chance. Small markets like Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton have 60-90% chances of playoffs? Let’s bump that down to 50%, because fuck em.

Let’s give the contending teams a shot at 1st overall, but let’s make sure to create a situation where the Flames and Nucks cannot win, just to skew the math towards our preferred outcome.

I was 100% sure the season was done, but now I have to cheer for it. No season, then no playoffs or lottery odds. We get a Season and Flames get playoff games or a 1/8 shot at 1st overall. Yeesh.
