and they said it could took like 8-12 months for a vaccine were already like what 3 months in already? season normally starts in sept thats 9 months we have been working on a vaccine
not to mention trump is trying to fast track force out a vaccine that might work in like half the time so we could see one sooner then that




yeah no shit but if people dont listen we might not have a choice im just being realistic and hoping it doesnt mutate if it does were probably in a world of hurt

what does political affiliation have to do with this at all?

its getting really old when people blame political affiliation on how serious certain people are taking it.
I live in a hugely democratic community, and ive seen blatant disregard for the recommendations from the cdc among mostly people that i KNOW for a 100% fact are huge democrats.
in fact if we took percentages i would bet that among my county the people who are taking it the least serious are the democrats.
so to bring politics into it at all when all he did was state a fact that trump is trying to fast track a vaccine has nothing to do with the conversation at all.

Wasn't political, was simply saying trump isn't fast tracking shit, he's randomly testing drugs with no evidence of it helping and anyone who believes him is blind

One of the few places making headway is the disease center at UofM Winnipeg
Currently they will pay you 5,000$ to test vaccines they've already created (rather then testing random shit * insert aquarium joke*)

They are hoping with best case scenario, 1 year for the vaccine.

at this point, if he says he's trying to fast track a vaccine, im inclined to believe him, because regardless of popular belief he does care about getting a hold of this thing and getting rid of it.

I certainly have my disagreements with him, but to think he simply doesnt care about americans is just downright asinine.

also headway is not indicative of effort, just because he hasnt been able to directly attribute a step forward yet doesnt mean he isnt trying.

I have some very bad news for ya. I come from a 3rd world shithole and Trump would be a bottom feeder there. The guy only stays in power because Americans are told from cradle to grave everyone should be like billionaires even if they're human sewage.

That said, Riki did politicize the thread for no reason.

I disagree, in his eyes, his legacy is going to rest on doing everything he can to keep as many americans alive as he can. And theres nothing that he cares about more than himself and his legacy.
Which means in turn caring about and keeping americans alive as best he can therefor yes, he does care in a sense.

He went from "it's a democrat hoax" to "a lot of people are going to die" very late, probably when someone told him leaders around the world saw approval rates go up after lockdowns (including Trudeau). I digress, though.
