That’s his head, that’s what the league is supposedly trying to get rid of. It’s a predatory hit. It’s charging. He didn’t have the puck at the time of contact and the was a battle for the loose puck that Tkachuk had no intention of taking part in. If you think this hit is clean there point acknowledging you exist imo.

You’ll have to come up with a better source than the leagues take on the other hit. They have proven there is no consistency or game plan to deal with head shots and officiating issues. Good general rule is see what the league says and know the opposite is reality.

Yep. Although I’ll admit, watching Tkachuk a lot, he’ll put himself in awkward positions like that on purpose to draw penalties. Looks like he might have been trying that there too. Still, dangerous play by Mcdavid.
