I don't think Ovechkin could do what he does 30 years ago with the stick they use, it would snap every other shot

Cos Ovechkins wrister is like a slapshot

Either way, impossible to compare eras from tehn and now. The players are overall much better in the entire league the past 2 decades compared to the 80s. Since they're developed well from young age and got all these analysts and trainers maximizing their conditioning.

it's funny how "current sticks" aren't helping other as much as ovechkin though eh?

The more insane part is that Stammer is the next guy to challenge ovie for goals,
he played like 4 seasons worth of less games than ovechkin, and even if he managed to score 50goals he would still be behind lol
