He wasnt even driving hard to the net, Faulk gave him a shove so he thought it would be an easy play to run the goalie and get him off his game.
You literally have to do whatever you can to not hit the goalie. Lee could have easily hit the breaks and stop or at least try to stop. He had little speed there.
