Damn those oiler fans live in denial so bad.
If there is a single thread of silver lining in a situation, they squeeze that ish in to gold.

Trading hall got us 13 more play off games than keeping him. In an infinite amount of alternate universes that we keep Hall all of them result in us missing playoffs both years.

We did get fleeced , I’ve never been a PC fan. I seen what he did in Boston and wasn’t impressed. I never liked the Lucic signing, I always thought maroon was a better option and for 1/4 the price.
I wish we’d have have traded Hall for more but there is no imaginable scenario I like that involved keeping Hall.

lots of players succeed after they're traded... people have said he was partying every night(similar to Seguin)

I don’t believe it was as bad as seguin (puting him up in hotel in Boston and hiring a security guard to keep him there) but Hall self admittedly had attitude problems prior to this year. It was also no secret that Hall and dubnyk spent a lot of time at a particular nightclub.

The hall we see today was almost certainly not possible to develop into if he had stayed in Edmonton.

And now Lucic wants out of Edmonton... It's honestly ridiculous players can ask for a trade and keep their NMC, if they ask for a trade the NMC should be void.

Maybe Backes for Lucic? :lol:

clearly. Look how bad they're with a player that has the most points in the league. They need to trade McDavid away for Orpik to be competitive now
