i like how there was no mention of spooner in that post either cause he definitely was not part of the problem

i just dont get how the refs or anyone can think they know where allens body wouldve been and if he wouldve been able to make the save or not if he wasnt pushed out of the crease. well never know.

This is why I despise video reviews in hockey. This should not have counted as per the NHL rules, but it's an absolute crap shoot now with what is called and what isnt. If we had consistency I'd be all for it but I think this massive "grey" area is making hockey worse not better.

i agree, grey areas are terrible. thats why im ok with the current nfl rule to decide a catch. its at least black and white.

these NHL goalies don't train to slide out of their crease on their own way out of position when trying to go post to post
u can clearly see debrusk and spooner being the cause to further push allen away from his crease.

except for nauki ofc, no contact was made. Allen just forgot how to skate
