if he works out for the habs even better... but the guys old small and losing his bread and butter in his shot... what makes you think hes going to keep up his playoff pace?
you think maybe playing with another clutch player like giroux helped those stats too?

his cap hit was like 6.7m
he just came off a 95 point season playing with drury and had lots of teams trying to sign him
was also the non salary cap era so at the time you could pay basicly whatever it took to sign the player




i watched every flyers game.. he looked nothing like the previuos years of danny b... even his low point years he still looked good
this season that we just had... he looked like an ahler and he was playing in germany so its not like it was rust from sitting during the lockout
hes just not the same player he was ... maybe he wanted to leave idk ... if the habs can get him to play with heart and he gets his shot back then 4m is a good price ... but its all if and imo unlikely

i think 3/4 of habs fans on jsp are better GMs than bergevin/habs
