What? Lmao. He is easily on par if not better than a prime crosby. Do you mean mcdavids legacy isnt comparable to crosby's? Because i would agree with that so far, but if we're just strictly talking about hockey skill, im taking prime mcdavid over prime crosby.

Comparing status as in Crosby's first Stanley Cup on the road in game 7 (as a Sophomore I believe) and how the "great ones" get it done, many people in the media, podcasts etc talking about how this moment is for McDavid because he's one of the greats

Gotta win before you can become a real legend and compare to people that have Stanley Cups and Olympic Gold Medals
Maybe he'll get back to the finals, tough in the NHL

McDavid is good but I mean, he hasn’t won yet and Leon is pretty good too. I don’t watch much Oilers puck but I mean comon. To say McDavid isn’t this eras biggest comparison to Gretzy or Mario is an odd take. Canada hockey just sucks.

Crosby and Ovechkin are great players but their time of production is coming to a close me thinks. OV has a good ~200 gp more than him though

Lets be honest, crosby and the pens likely dont win that cup if malkin was rightfully suspended for the instigator penalty he was given in game 2. He shouldnt have played in game 3 but he did and had 3 primary assists. Without him chances are they lose game 3, go down 0-3 on the series and we all know (especially now) how that scenario typically plays out...

That's a lot of what if's and should haves there guy, it might be time to remove McDavids jock strap from your mouth

lmao okay, its actually funny that you think im a fan of mcdavid :rofl:
I rooted against the oilers in each round. But i can give credit where it is due, and fact of the matter is that based on skill prime mcdavid > prime crosby.
Like i said, crosby has the legacy, for now at least. But again cups are team accomplishments, so you really cant compare the two based on that alone. Maybe the NBA would be a better sport for you if you are so hung up on crediting championships to individual players.
