why is my CPU so hot D:
65 C right now, i7-740qM 1.73GHz quad core

that seems like low ghz :/ my i5 is 3.4.

could be bad ram though. or the fan could use a good cleaning

yeah its a low-end i7 but it turbos to 2.93GHz
fan is clean, and fairly sure my ram is fine, but i'm buying 4gb of new ram in a few weeks

well the game requires near 3ghz. if its overclocking constantly it could get pretty stressed out.

im not OC'd constantly D: running at low settings 'cause frankly i don't really care about the graphics

honestly thers relaly only 1 setting u can change that lower the cpu usage and that collision detectection
buy more fans there like $10 if u pwersupply has the plugs n u can fitem in giver
or just do like me... i have an air conditioner constantly blowing cold air at my tower with the side off lol

the CPU is fine up until 100 C but still i'd prefer it to be <60
doesn't help that its hot out
