If you want two seasons per book go ahead and make a petition, but you just can't do that with a 10-12 episode cycle. The episodes have been fantastic and you're letting it get ruined for you that something you wanted to happen isn't happening.
Honestly I don't think it's a longshot to compare it to a kid throwing a tantrum because his mom won't buy him gummies at the grocery store.


I think you're taking my comments as an overreaction. That's not the case. I'm just trying to have a normal discussion here.

Just to paraphrase what I wrote earlier though

The worst case scenario you are describing is a story that is different enough than what you have come to expect from the books

And you describe it as fantastic. Why not enjoy the show and the books as 2 different stories
