You would sign Fedotenko which is taking a roster spot away from a player like Laughton who is coming up. You think Foster is a better solution than players like Coburn, Meszaros, Grossman, and even Gervais. You would trade Coots and for whatever reason you think he would only land a late pick and a depth player that we already have enough of. You would deal Rinaldo even though he is a real catalyst to the team, like it or not. You wouldn't resign Gustafsson even though he has more than shown his worth in key situations. The guy is still young and any team could use him.


Coburn has been a top level d-man for us. Maybe you don't see it in the few games of hockey you actually watch, but he has been great. Meszaros and Grossman have both been fantastic as well, but they've just been injury ridden the last two years. Meszaros especially who came back too soon after surgery. He is also still recovering for injury so he can't be dealt regardless.

trades richards for simm+schenn simmonds is pretty umch = richards and we got b schenn on top of that...carter for voracek+couts voracek>carter and we got couts on top of that

yes - assuming you read what I wrote correctly? Again; these are all just opinions - some opinions might be better than others. As a person who doesn't watch the Flyers unless they're playing my team and solely looking at stats/cap hits over this past season; those were the quick conclusions I came up with. really? cuz their point totals are pretty fuckin close richards is better defensively but simmonds can hit be the net presence and actually fight without getting his ass kicked

carter since being on the kings hasnt produced that good until palyoffs(which is weird he was always opposite on philly) meanwhile voracek with giroux set a new career high in goals this season and was like 2 points of tieing his career high in points (which was set the year b4 on philly)
voracek is younger (23) not a puck hog and going to be putting up more points then carter ... how is it by any means a stretch to say that?
