picks should at least make logical sense

There's already a game like that, it's called a bracket. By putting so many restrictions on you're dumbing this game down to picking series length then throwing darts at a wall for score.

I'd rather pull names out of a hat.

Then why show me shit and tell me it's made of gold? No reason to disguise it as a score pickIng game when it's glorified random with the rules you seem to want.

I fully agree, its a new game jbell designed and wanted to try out...and I don't know if it quite works as well as intended

but in the end the goal was to make it fun for everyone and disperse some fg throughout the forum, not plug some numbers into a system to win the 3000fg prize at the end

i put the very least amount of thought into my picks for this round, took me roughly 2 minutes...but i still played within the spirit of the rules


still the fact is jbell is doing this all on his own...why fight him on everything and just not say ok...you want it done this way, thats how well do it

So because we put actual thought into the game we should be disqualified? We know we aren't going to get all of the scores right, nor who wins what games. We picked what would benefit us the most.

Seriously you guys seem to be on us because we're actually trying to win a game and not just putting random ass scores for each match

its not even that, if you look at my scores in round 1 they were all 4-2

but when jbell said thats not what he wanted, i made different picks for round 2, instead of going out of my way to find a way to go around those rules

I changed my picks and got rid of ties because you guys made a fuss over it. I then picked new scores, and now it seems to be a problem because I got teams winning more than 4 games. Neither of these things were problems before. It really does feel that you guys are on us because we're actually trying strategies and trying to win.

I've gone with everything jbell has ruled on but if you honestly expect me to give up on my strategy without voicing my opinion when I definitely put a hell of a lot more than two minutes of thoughts in is just stupid. Now you're penalizing because you put LESS effort in? How's that work?

The complainers are the ones causing issues with this game. I've just been putting in my picks then getting immediately forced on the defensive.
