Canucks were fine without Kesler before, should be okay.

Really sucks though. Obviously it's hard to avoid a broken foot type injury but it's alarming how often he's hurt.

Corey Crawford was replaced by Ray Emery at the start of the second period in Thursday's game against the Blues.
Crawford stopped all six shots he faced in the first period and held a 1-0 advantage after the frame, but didn't come out of the locker room to begin the second. There is no word on the reason for Crawford's absence, but it's reasonable to think he may have re-aggravated the upper body injury that kept him out of the lineup for 12 days earlier in the month.
