Same thing with reconciliation day. Those who oppressed the indigenous decided it would be appropriate to give themselves a paid holiday at everyone else's expense?

The queen one I get. We're a commonwealth nation. This is a once in lifetime history type thing. 70yrs on throne etc.
But what happens when king Charles dies? Another holiday? Bad precedent to start I suppose.
And the reconciliation day...I'm still waiting for them to find any bodies.
Alberta doesn't recognize it but my company does. And all the unions will be fighting for it to be a holiday.
