Flight board at YEG be like:

BC
Calgary
Toronto

Then a random flight to Nashville that Katz must've paid for to try to attract Duchene to Edmonton

Couple years back they had a direct to Reykjavik that was pretty amazing. Flight was like $350 and only took about 6 hours.

Likely just won't work

It does lol, just wondering if it would damage the monitor or not after long term use

it could work but likely fry it and potentially start a fire if used long term
if the monitor works with the other cord just buy a new cord for it and wait it out imo

Electrically speaking. You are using an underrated cable for the monitor right? 12v cable for a 19v monitor? You should be fine. There would be issues if you had a cord that was rated higher than what the monitor can handle. I think you'll be fine.

Yea like sub0 said its more dangerous to over volt rather than under volt

I assume the different power cord is supplying a similar wattage hence why it's working

The screen just may not have full functionality, such as brightness or other features like VRR or whatever else relies on those circuits

What I would worry about is whether the power supply or converter is being stressed and it is 'working' too hard, the incompatible parts may be generating a lot more heat/resistance than the manufacturer has allowed tolerance for

Though risk seems low, I'd say use it short term and replace it with a supply cord off of Amazon or something they aren't expensive

I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to these things as improper electrical connections have potential to start fires
