some games and webistes can ban you yeah
jsp will ban you for vpn iirc because their bans are ip bans iirc so if you are on a commonly used vpn they might think you are evading ban

a lot of games will detect a new location based on ip and ban/limit the account thinking it got hacked or something too
vpns have a lot of good uses in terms of gaming though imo stay away from them


besides do you really go to that sketchy of websites your worried people know your ip? get a good firewall antivirus thats better security then a vpn


if you want it for netflix maybe set up a 2nd browser with the vpn specifically for that use so you dont mix it with other things

Sounds like you need to see the Single Player light.



I haven't read all the details yet but so far the only competitive advantage you get from paying is boosted XP on ladders, which I guess kind of kills ladder for people who don't want to pay and wanna make profit early on like we do in D2.

I guess it's fair if people are turned off by that, or turned off by the fact that they are putting some P2W aspects in the game in general.

m neither, but I don't really care what others do with their cosmetics as long as it doesn't turn the game into a rainbow puke-fest like D3 lol

It's how they'll make their money. Basically choose between a p2w game or skins these days. I'll choose skins any day if the actual game is fine. POE has been incredibly successful and Blizz is going to follow that model

Yeah unfortunately companies don't believe in maintaining/updating their game unless they are making bank off it.

It's sheer business, no more "for the love of the game" stuff.

So if the game is actually good, gotta consider it a necessary evil if you want the devs to support it.
