Ohh please don't tell me your falling for that fearmongering pc strategy saying they'll be less jobs. The 2% increase ndp talks about is being rolled into. Not just an immediate hike. And the big oil corps won't be effected nearly as much as anyone is saying. It's just like saying instead of making 100$ they'll be making 98$. They arnt losing money.
Oh, I'm certainly not drinking the PC punch either. All I'm saying is I dont quite agree with the massive hype around the NDP. I think that government in a province like this should seriously look at spending and budgeting first and foremost. I dont disagree with the NDPs stance on increasing taxes on corporations and creating a new "higher" tax bracket at all. I think those are good ideas for sure.

I have a fly in fly out job right now. It's such a beauty gig. 14 on 7 off.
You literally spend 0$ while up here working. They do your laundry make your bed daily. Provide great warm meals. There are many activities to do. Great atmosphere.
PM me what you do for work (or post it here but I want more specific details), I'm curious. Right now I've got a great job in the O&G industry but always interested in what others do.

It's not too insane actually.
Stupid people just decide to rent.
And to be honest. I don't think I make enough money.
And big reason it costs allot to love is because we're one of the fastest growing provinces?
Influx of people means increase in costs across the board.
I agree with this. I dont like to give out too much in terms of personal info of forums, but I own a house at age 24. I have two room mates and they pay my mortgage. But regardless I dont make obscene money but I'm still able to afford a nice house.
