I feel for those people that moved from the states or out of town to Vancouver expecting rain and bad weather, and get rekt by this with no A/C available.
I think the new apartments are finally including a/c built in but damn, anything a little older than 3+ yrs will need to get their own shit
I got heat stroke twice from this heat wave.
3rd floor apartment in Pocco. No AC. Wanted one you could install to hang outside the window. Against strata rules..... I want a detached house so bad.
At that point I would just be taking on a different stress though. Could sell this place but then I would be mortgaged to the hilt and would not be able to do anything remotely fun.
But I could have the kind of AC I wanted haha. Usually it is not so bad but these last two years have been ridiculous. Wonder if it is a coincidence or the new trend.
/e on the plus side I have to be down at least 5 pounds in a week just from non stop sweating lol.
