Reminds me of Breaking Bad though, apparently Aaron Paul was paranoid after he found out he was originally supposed to die like immediately in the series, so Bryan Cranston would make sure to read the script before him. Before every other episode he'd look at Aaron with this somber face and say something to the effect of "Sorry man, at least you go out fighting." And Aaron Paul bought it every time lol.
