Slackers are protected in unions. So it's ok.

One of the things I despise about a union

Union can be great, but people abuse em way too much. Especially the older folks
the constant union vs management is boring too

Bit of what drago saying is true.
Strong lazy union members don't want someone working too hard cause he'll make everyone else look bad.

But partank is right. Unless you are sucking the company dick, these lazy knuckle draggers hop from job to job every month.

it does happen, not all unions but most.
happened to me when i worked for the city.
my crew said i was working too hard/fast, and that i needed to slow down. So I did, and apparently it was still too fast... They literally meant, slo-mo.
Fuck that i didnt want to look like an idiot to the public eyes.

from 8 hours of work a day, real work would be around 30-45 minutes, rest of 7hr 15min is absolutely bullshit. Felt so shitty to find out the tax payer's $$$ is being wasted like dis.
i mean, fuck on halloween of 2014 we curved pumpkin's for 4 hours, so that we can get vote on who's pumpkin's the best to win shit ton of gifts worth over $200, including bc lions tix and canucks tix. The city would provide us with the food at lunch, then chill to vote for the winner.
Then there's EDO's which is like a "paid holiday" for city workers, they're guaranteed 1 day off once a month, paid. For working "extra 15min" everyday, which never happens.
