I wasn’t a Biden fan before, but after this Russian invasion I’ve become a Biden fan. The way he preemptively whipped the EU together for sanctions before Russian even invaded, secretly armed Ukraine to the teeth to succesfully hold off Russia, and is feeding them incredible US intel on the daily is impressive. His lifelong NATO fanaticism has made him the best possible US president for the moment imho. No US president of the past 30+ years would be better suited for today.

Considering the US is the biggest benefactor in the whole ordeal by potentially replacing a big chunk of Russia as Europe's LNG supply, sanctions against their russian enemy which also weakens an important ally of china, more weapons sales, and convinced NATO members to step up on their military spending while looking good to the voting public it would be insane to think a president wouldn't jump on this opportunity.

You’d think so, but Trump would absolutely have gifted Ukraine to Russia. He called the Russian invasion “smart” on Putin’s part. Obama watched Russia invade and annex Crimea and was extremely soft on them for it in hindsight. Maybe even was so soft he set the stage for this invasion. And GW Bush is GW Bush. He may have invaded Iran in response or something.
