Just worried I won't get the pipe hot enough for the solder to suck around the joint.
I hear you can stick some bread up there to block it while you solder and it will disintegrate once it's soaked. I'm not sure though. Soldering I'd tougher then it looks

bread works a guy at work put a screw through the pipe and we had to use bread to replace the one section
no joke it was bread from somebodies sandwich its all we had :lol: it worked though

Obviously I do. But even with the shut off valve turned off in the house there is a slow leak. I'ma do what drago says I think. Bread without the crust and no grains.
