You're probably not wrong, west is built for physical series and they just dominated everyone with speed/swarming. If anyone is going to beat that playstyle it's another team from the east since that's what they're used to.

Vegas looked very bad tonight.

They would have caught some big breaks if half of their passes connected but the Caps did really good getting in the way blocking shots and knocking them off the puck.

Thoroughly dominated game by Caps and the shutout would have made it more obvious if Holts didn’t have that oops.
