hmm... maybe there going to try and trade him first and then buy him out later on if they cant trade?
or even next year it would make sense to buy him out more then this year

Probably trade Briere. I mean, hes still worth something for some teams if Gonchar can notch a 5M deal...

I think he will. Pretty sure they had some trades lined up during the season and he refused to waive his NTC. Maybe moving during the summer wont look as bad to him. I mean, Bryz is worthless but Briere is worth something
