Gonna do d2 ironman with a bunch of friends. What should I make?

I think a d2 ironman , is different from most ironmans but my version of an iron man is start in a1 normal, no outside items, no trading etc only play when in a group and you go as far as you can get ... so like on my last iron man with 1 friend we go to a4 normal.

iron man is lvl 1>9, only shit you find, then duel until 1 remains
