I tried a private site (might have been IPT) but for some reason I couldn't seed those torrents. Must have been something wrong with my uTorrent settings.

Anyways I like public, Kickass or TPB. Fast download and upload speeds.

Public equals slower speeds, and a much greater risk of your ISP screwing you over. Plus most privates are monitored for quality rips, so you don't wind up with shitty downloads

just read the comments on KAT and you dont end up with shitty downloads either
and my isp has never sent me an email for dling anything meanwhile my freind with cogeco got like 5 it depends on your isp

although dl in canada did become illegal not that long ago iirc? they might now idk never got anything for getting pillars of eternity ^^

ISP can't really screw you over. Did you mean the notices they send out?? cos they are just following the law, and isp's are required to send notices out. They won't be the one suing you though, it would be the owner of copyright.
So in fact, they help you more if the owner of the copyright is trying to sue you, cos the ISP won't release any info.to the plaintiff unless ordered by the court, which has been denied before for privacy issues lol.

Private trackers have better consistency, higher seed pools, and better speeds in a lot of cases.



Some ISPs will cut you off if you continue to download after you get a notice. It's not the suing thing that will get you, but your actual ISP.

In BC canadia, we only got Shaw, Telus, Rogers as the big 3 fighting for da internatz monopoly. So they'll never cut u off themselves, in fact more people switch over to the ISP once their promo is up and the current company doesn't extend it
