I've taught this dog hand signals for sit, lay down, and stay. She's still working on stay but I feel like a goddamned wizard when she follows commands and I don't even have to talk.

If only she could remember what to do when she's outside the apartment  mutt has ADD.

They estimated her at 1 year old on March 20th. I'm treating her birthday as the 24th which is when she actually came home with me. So literally just over a year.

Major brat sometimes, already tore up a bunch of toys (and some other stuff I was a bit upset about) but she's settling in. Absolute sweetheart if you let her sit next to you on the couch.

 I'm still doing voice commands outside. What I meant is I need to bribe her with treats outdoors still whereas indoors I literally don't have to say a word.

Good time to adopt.

My aunt got a shitzu puppy and it's only barely 2 months , I turned my back for a second and it shit on the floor. Thankfully it was hardwood. Also had to pee like every hour

Yeah those small dogs will do that. Luckily she seems to have already been housebroken when she got here. Peed on the carpet twice early on and hasn't been an issue since. Once before work, once after, and once before bed and she's set.

Sometimes it's just nerves. My friends dog is completely trained but when he comes over he always pees at least once at my house just because he's away from owners

my neighbor bought one for his dog cuz he doesnt like walking her in the winter he cant take the cold

they learn to go to it he said his dog hasnt pissed anywhere else since its like a cat they go to litter boxes dogs go to their rug thing
