For sure, I'm not looking to flip a house though I just wanted a house the way I wanted it without having to put work in it. I'm getting it on a saturday, moving in and sleeping there the first night. I saw cheaper houses with potential but am pretty lazy when it comes to doing that. Like I said by buddy bought a cheaper house and put work into it, redid floor, painting, put some love in it etc and it looks great now. But it was a lot of work and asking friends to come spend hours and hours after working their regular jobs and I don't want to do that
You can even find people on kijiji that do handy work for a living
Some guy charged me $15/hr and helped with absolutely everything including kitchen and even building a deck
