downgrade further?

who is downgrading?

i was suggesting getting a cheaper, yet high quality, keyboard + mouse combo

his tower budget is 1k,
adding ssd will mean u gotta downgrade other components to fit the ssd.

forget about his budget, he can spend an extra $100

he said it himself

if it was a budget issue i would say forget SSD, but his budget is flexible

i originally wanted to spend roughly 1000 on it since i wanted a good monitor mouse and keyboard. so itd shoot up the price more. only thing was that i was willing to spend another 100-200 bucks if there is some major upgrade and it would be dumb not to do it

only because the computer im currently using is super old and does everything fine

and that's what i mean, if his budget is flexible and could increase budget from 1k to 1.1k-2
he could upgrade elsewhere which would be much more beneficial, such as GPU to 970 which will last even longer in case he decides to play upcoming games with higher demands.

Far better money spent on upgrading other parts,
than having a computer to turn on around 10 seconds, and loading super fast in dota2 only to wait for others..

$100 isn't going to be enough fro a 970

we're talking over $200 for a 970 upgrade

this is CAD, not USD
