california has the 2nd highest average price per gallon on fuels, only hawaii is ahead of us

and the gas milage between the 3 isnt large enough really to consider

go drive all 3 and see what you like the best

i personally won't buy a dodge, based on my experience and the experience of my friends, so that's easy for me to cross off my list

the ford, at least the newer ones come with a aluminum bed/body parts. thats a no go for me, i would end up putting a hole in the bed. aluminum tears/rips/crumples instead of bending/denting. where i have dents in the bed of my truck, i would have holes, thats a no go, off my list

I seen the commercials comparing the beds... and I hef to say anyone that tosses shit in their truck like that is a complete bum.

I guess to be fair, we should know what kind of usage Sexcii is looking for in a truck.. if it's balls to wall work truck, i wouldn't even consider buying new or worrying about make/ year. I would be looking for the best condition/ price.

If it's for casual/ everyday driving....Gas wise I wouldn't recommend buying a truck unless said driving conditions are going to honestly impact the the vehicle.

but if he isnt worried about the bed, wouldn't the aluminum styles have a better weight on gas plus? I mean for years and years I been around truck lovers, never seen someone toss a tool box into their truck like those idiots. With the exception of one guy who is a known degenerate who completely wrecked his RAM by constantly being a lazy fuck boy.

Job interview today at 10:30.

Ran into a guy who I used to work with at the bar last weekend and it turns out they were looking for someone to do what I did previously at his current company. When I talked to the GM on Saturday, meeting today seemed like a bit of a formality and to discuss details, expectations and pay. Hopefully it goes well and I get back to work!

Crazy how things work out, sent out tons of resumes to all kinds of companies looking for work and going out boozing is what gets me a job* (hopefully*)

Nice one, gl. Unemployment in Edmonton is about 6% compared to Calgary's 10.5% somehow, so should be easier up there these days now.

Ya somehow. The reason is basically that Edmonton is the capital and has tons of government jobs, and that Calgary has more oil and gas head offices than up north. Both cities' oil jobs are equally decimated though.

i don't throw shit in and out of my bed, but i have had stuff that i had strapped down come loose, or broke a strap and fell over and put a dent in the bed, or didnt think it needed to be strapped and moved.... shit happens.

+ the cost of fixing the aluminum + finding a shop that is actually capable and has the new tools to do it is another thing.

also with the milage thing, i think that's probably what they were after, but didnt really accomplish much as far as i can tell, it's still a truck and most of them are still v8 and they still get right around the same fuel economy

Also, which I stated months ago. Edmonton is having a commercial boom right now.
Downtown is bumping.

I think dodges have the best fuel economy.
Their multi displacement system is same used in the benz.
Where 4 cylinders turn off when driving under normal conditions.
The fords ecoboost is just a gimmick though.
