He is one of my favorite players. I loved what he did with the caps, and i was secretly hoping every year that we'd trade for him.
When we signed him i was stoked as fuck even though he had already shown signs of slowing down.
Hes just getting older, turned 34 the other day so hes in the period where he is still serviceable but noticeably declining.
A couple more years and he will probably call it a career. Wouldnt be surprised if he signed a one year deal with the caps in one of the next two offseasons with the intention of retiring at the end of that season.
