Pretty sure you can. You just can't play the players you traded for, which makes it pretty useless and why it will never happen.

I expected the kings to get more out of bernier, but at the same time I think Toronto is one of the worst places for him to go

remember their cap situation, frattin is quite cheap i think?

they also got a bad back up that can play the 10~ish games quick doesnt play

I think he's right. You can trade, just not use the players
