not to say there wasn't an economy without dupes but there was no way PvP (on which most of the economy was based) would work for most people with vanilla drops alone, imagine widely duped items being super rare instead so that people with nigma, 40/15 jewels, max stats charms, etc. had a massive advantage. dueling would be made up of turbonerds who could afford to pay to win to have the best gear.

It's just an inherent problem with any game where usually more time/money spent = better stuff.

I don't think duping so that it's easier for everyone to be better faster is in any way a solution.

I think if you're going to play this game you'll have to accept that some people are going to have better gear and that's how it is. It would make the difference between two PVPers of similar skill but a GG player with decent gear can still own a noob with god gear.

I mean good LLDers can beat fully leveled noobs lol

The only reason I played d2 classic instead of expac is cuz of vanilla drops. No such thing as best in gear and everyone using the same core gear. It felt so hardcore and more rewarding. Plus big brain strats like using a fucking unique twitch armor for shield block stack etc. Imagine losing in a bvb to a dude wearing twitch VS ornates lmao

Pretty much same thing happened to us when I was a kid.


My dad left his doors unlocked overnight, they went in and used the garage opener to steal pretty much anything of value, which was mostly tools lol.

Our garage is attached to our house and the door in between wasn't locked, but thankfully they didn't try to go inside (as far as we know). Could have been a lot worse.

Took a set of basically new tires on rims, couple power tools. Left my fancy mountain bike thank god. Bike worth more than what they took, but losing the tires sucks.

Ya I reset the opener code. They took the opener so ya I'm sure they plan to come back. My neighbour has a camera, so I actually have a photo of the Joe Dirt lookin guy who took em, and his truck. No plate though.
