I'm pretty sure most cats would kill their owners if they were big enough lol. Also are you sure about their size as fully grown? Because I have a regular cat (maine coon) and it's like 15lbs...

It sounds like it's a pretty demanding animal to have as your first pet, sounds like you'd have to move, and that it will take a lot of attention/training, plus the price :o . It's your money so do whatever, I'm not trying to dissuade you, just want to be aware of everything + the cat does look pretty cool.

Yeah, they look big but they're light I guess.

And yeah it's extreme when it comes to the amount of care and work that would be involved. It's pretty much like having a toddler, and they don't really mellow out as they grow up like kids or more normal pets.

If I do it I know I'll be prepared for the commitment, just figuring out right now if it's actually plausible for me 'cause I will have to move for it lol.

I'm really into animal behavior/biology. If I'm not watching sports on TV I'm watching Animal Planet / Nat Geo / Discovery / etc.

Unfortunately I discovered my love for this kind of stuff in my early 20's; had I known earlier I would have gone to school for it. Looking to volunteer at a zoo soon.

e/ big cats are my favorite :D

Unfortunatley I discovered my love for this kind of stuff in my early 20's; had I known earlier I would have gone to school for it. Looking to volunteer at a zoo soon.

Not too much into marine life but they do in particular have a shortage of help?

Would be closer than going to the Abby zoo on a regular basis lol

lol well if I get one (or multiple) I'm going to have to build some outdoor backyard enclosures for them to play in so I'm working my way there

Probably lol but these seem to have more of a dog-like relationship with their owners, complete with staring out the window waiting for them to come home lol

They're great on a leash/harness too lmao gonna get some strange looks when I go for walks

Went on a hike with my little duder over the weekend. You'll definitely get looks , also something you'll have to just keep in mind is that most people have dogs, and alot of them aren't used to cats just roaming on their walks.

Coooool.

That is probably what I'm looking forward to the most - going on hikes with it. Would be even cooler if you could go off leash but it'd probably be gone in 5 seconds never to be seen again lol especially an F1

my cats like water, fetch with no training what so ever, walk on a leash
oh and also they are not afraid of dogs
mine will actually lick dog and play with them as if they were dogs.....
I made a few guy jealous because their gf would pet my cat and talk to me for like 5 minutes while they are just waiting there
