thats the problem, you have too many centers which is why i think some fans want to trade couts because he'll get the best while being the most expendable, but its a fantasy trade and won't happend

why would simmonds be on 3rd line? thought he established himself as a 2nd liner

but why trade couts hes prob going to be the best 2nd line center out of everybody we got and why for a PMD? we dont need one THAT bad if mezaros is healthy timo n him can both move it pretty good and now were adding streit

ya but im talking about a young PMD born around 89-91 thats proven in the NHL. what happends when timo retires? we all saw what happend when pronger got concussed and put on LTIR

i could see couts netting someone like voynoy (ok, maybe not now since the hype is l0l), kulikov and those others young PMD:s who have proven themselves in the nhl but plays on a team that needs a 2C more than a 2-3D

leddy++ for couts could also work, good d-man and a pick

now, idk how the other ones are supposed to be valued or if im overvaluing leddy, but just as an example

id rather have couts
timos prob got a few years left in him and if anybody is going to hit FA homer will prob make a move at them

I think Chicago would keep Leddy... tons of upside. He's already a good #5 and can skate like not many others can.

yeah, but they need a 2C, if they can get an unproven one, maybe laughton? or leddy++ for couts it would benefit both teams :C

honestly our d was mostly injuries this year and i only compalnied about grossman being in the top 4 with coburn



we dont have that jizzworthy d man but we got timo guys solid as fuck schenn by the end of last season looked great coburn and mezaros are both pretty good not we got streit getting thrown into the mix and we still have grossman
somebody explain to me why you keep saying we need d cuz the way i see it were lookin pretty good as long as we stay healthy but even if we dont the young guys that came up last season looked pretty good too
the only way i would say aquire another d man is if hes going to be like a fuckin allstar cuz thats really all we need for an upgrade


besides whos to say we dont draft that guy with the #11 pick this year?draft seems pretty deep
