Detroit Red Wings Head Equipment Manager Paul Boyer received a package in the mail today.
It was Mikael Samuelsson's gear. He promptly emptied out the old bag, and replaced it with a brand new red one.

I always like Sammy on Canucks, most fans didn't though. Problem is that he's a shooter and it's really tough for anyone to find chemistry with Kesler... we still need a playmaking winger.

Also Semin to Wings makes sense, weird how it hasn't been done yet :P You guys have a ton of cap space for Semin + another D-man

You shoot as much as him, you're bound to miss a few. Most of the Canucks seem like they hate to shoot, it's frustrating, it was nice having someone like him who thought shot first.

stay calm, Val will break 30 goal mark next season, Hank will feed him well (will get 30 goals himself also), no need for 7$/y top 6 player, Nyquist/Brunner/Samuelsson? will do the job.

Please extend Homer for 1 more year and bench that tootoo guy

he has great size, great shot, defensively responsible, plays with grit, great 2-way player. He never dissapointed us in wings uniform

he didnt want to play in florida so he played quite sloppy defensively but was great on the PP

I didn't think he was defensively responsible enough to PK but it wasn't like he was a liability. Loved the package he brought to the table, but his sort of perimeter style doesn't really work with the Sedins and playing with Kesler as your C is difficult for any winger lol.
