in all the provinces except quebec and manitoba, the death rate for covid-19 is around the death rate of influenza now, in alberta and saskatchewan it's actually lower (the numbers are 2-3 times higher in the states)

there's been plenty of vaccine available for people now to get vaccinated, people that are getting hit hard now by the new variant are mostly people that are by choice unvaccinated, locking things down wasn't going to stop these people anyways

Usually get 60-100k with tires. The last pair of tires I used extensively got 50k on them before I traded the vehicle in. Probably still ~ 60% tread left on them.

With the lease being up should go to a used tire shop and swap them.

my lease is up in feb lol and I got all seasons

someone mentioned the tire warranty and i see my tire's covered till 80k so I think I can get compensated at a pre-determined adjustment price when I replace the tires

still kind of ridiculous that with my grandpa like driving my tires will only last to 35k

Not sure if it's true or not but I heard dealerships deliberately have factory tires for new vehicles that are very soft because they offer great ride comfort and handling but come at the expense of having terrible durability.

Who knows if it is true or not. Makes sense though because it could help sell a car due to a smoother ride and sharper handling.

If another lockout occurs in B.C it will be met with quite a bit of civil disobedience.

Over 55% of the population has received both vaccine doses.

Every week I go to the grocery store there is less and less wearing masks because it is optional. The first week or so the majority were conditioned so they just continued despite the new rules.

Now the trend has shifted the other way so you are not going to get people back on board very easily.

I don't think there will be another lockdown because the majority has followed the rules for 2+ years and patience has more than ran out.

If the Vaccines work as well as stated those who are at risk and/or wanted to be vaccinated should have little risk.

Its not deliberated lol manufacturers do send their specs to the tires company and the cheapest win but i think the real reason is the car itself is poorly built

Best example is hyundai/kia/genesis those cars rip through tires like butter for whatever reason

mines a german and i used to get continentals on them and never had an issue but these ones are hankook ones and they do come factory but i was just blown away when the service guy told me about the treads remaining because i dont even hit 10k a year

What german come with hankook? lol
