From what I read, the firework wasn't balanced right, and it dropped and faced the crowd, he got in front of it to protect everyone else

sounds like something a goalie would do
still a crazy situation not too often you hear about that kinda stuff

I'll never understand the obsession with backyard fireworks, it's even lower amusement:risk ratio than firing your guns in the air.
