Do you guys not have central air conditioning up there?

barely any residential has it. some newer builds have it but we're talking single percentage probably. we don't do window A/C either. so when the wildfire smoke hits we just close our windows and die inside.

No window a/c units? Don't you guys get heatwaves? wtf

nah once summer hits our igloos melt and were all fucked

this is in BC specifically where everyone thinks it never gets hot, until it does.

otherwise central A/C is very common throughout Canada.

That makes more sense.

Have you looked into the portable room a/c units? They look similar to a space heater but apperantly work quite well
