Hey guys, let's say I have 2 lists of about 500 items and I want to rapidly compare them to eliminate the items that are on both lists, what's the fastest way to do it? Is this doable in Excel?
few ways to do it
1. if there isn't too many different items, like less than 10 choices within the 500 items
- put the two list into two columns in excel, select the two columns and insert table then use the filter function to get rid of things that match
2. lots of differing items
- use the find duplicate function
