My net/computer is being fucking gay today. Was perfectly fine last night but when I woke up, it was really slow and cutting in and out.

I called my ISP, they reset it from their side which stopped it from cutting out but it's still slow. Tried it with just the modem (no router) and it didn't help.

Weird thing is my download speeds are fine but the browser is slow as fuck and doesn't load half the time.

Called ISP again and they said they can't do anything else and it's probably a virus, but that doesn't explain why the wifi is slow on all our devices. Pretty sure it's not a virus, ran some scans anyway and nothing turned up.

If it's anything like how Netflix is slow as shit on Verizon, look up whether you can block Shaw's CDN IP. Not gonna lie and say I know exactly what it does - from what I understand, a lot of ISPs will route your connection through their own hub before connecting to other sites. Often their hub is really really restrictive, and if you block the CDN IP, you can connect directly to the site (again, from what I understand).
