^ That was off Sbisa's skate, actually. How dare you falsely accuse our God?

Notes:
- Tanev and Stanton were solid. Edler, Weber, Sbisa and Corrado (who was injured midway) were not great.

- Kid line had some nice shifts in the O-zone but didn't get much ice-time.

- No chemistry brewing between Bonino and Burrows as of yet but didn't help that their line-mate today, Matthias, played like shit.

- Sedins + Vrbata do move the puck around really well; Vrbata is definitely skilled/smart enough to hang with them and likes to shoot. Hard to say what kind of numbers they'll put up in the reg season, though.

- Miller let the first one squeak by him but I thought he played well overall. Made 3 really nice saves, especially the 2-on-1 stop. Didn't have much of a chance on the other 3 goals.

- Gonna be an interesting battle for the 3C spot between Vey and Horvat. Vey has the inside edge being more NHL ready overall and Benning's "guy" but I don't think he's good enough in his own zone.

- Power-play only had a minute to work with all game but they cashed in. Unfortunately Edler took Tanev's spot, but maybe an LH is the way to go for the system they are using (same as Washington, two RH triggers).

Yesterday's game:
No kid line Horvat got stuck in between the plugs Sestito and Dorsett so he decided to get injured on his 1st shift just to get away from them. Luckily it's just a shoulder bruise and not a separated shoulder or anything.

Not too much happened yesterday. Edler had a decent game, that's about it.


Roster notes:
- O''Reilly finally waived as expected, will likely make it to Utica
- Shinkaruk sent to Utica
- Jensen and Corrado (injured) still with the team

Jensen sent to Utica, as expected. Willie said nice things about him, they won't hesitate to call him up whenever they need to.

Bieksa and Horvat still questionable for game 1.
