I immigrated from one of the most violent countries in the world, but my family has never had to cancel Mother's Day plans because of it. can't believe it happened in fuckin' Richmond.

well it was technically at the airport so not really richmond

with that said I was in delta when my brother texted me about it and thankfully i missed the lock out by like an hour so i didnt get stuck in traffic

ps: cops probably won't find anyone just like all the other shootings (i think if it's gang related they just let it slide as long as an innocent person isn't killed)

There are calls for more aggressive police action after today's. It became reckless after the targeted shooting and it's inevitable an innocent gets killed.

The police can't give gangsters the impression that they can execute in broad public daylight whenever they want.

they're very good at issuing traffic tickets but when it comes to actual crime they take their sweet ass time

mind u i understand it's different departments but still...

i still remember i had my identity stolen a while back, i have credit monitoring so i got alerted real time that someone was applying for stuff because i got a hit for credit checks at 3 different banks

i called the banks and aside from scotia who actually flagged it, cibc and td did nothing so they got scammed out of like 30k

i asked cibc how did the guy apply for the line of credit and other stuff, they said the person used a fake permanent residence card - like this isn't some random guy stealing my email, they're able to forge actual government id

i then asked how did they get the credit card if the card should've been sent to my address, the bank tells me that the person picked it up in person up in northern bc. i say great, then there's security footage of the guy then, bank gives me DATE AND TIME

go to my local rcmp branch, get told to go to another office, go there, get told the crime didn't happen here so file it with the northern bc town, call those guys and the rcmp is like oh ya ok if i have time i'll go check the footage out

8 months later i get a phone call, "hey it's officer blah, i've just taken over ur case since the original officer got transferred away. it looks like he didn't do anything and the footage has long expired.... sooooo can i close the case?"

i actually laughed and said to be honest i expected u guys to do nothing, but at least u had the courtesy to call me and update me that u guys did nothing

turns out the victim was a United Nations top dog. probably done by outsiders like the Coal Harbour hit.

we need an actual federal anti-mafia/terrorism organization instead of contracting everything out to the RCMP.

half of the guys are probably already under investigation if its gang related but it takes months before action is able to be done most times cause they need t be 100% right and have so much proof ect ect
by time they are able to act and arrest them its usually too late

Annnnd another gang shooting in Metro Van.

Looks like 3 were shot but only 1 dead.

Again in broad daylight in a busy retail area. Tons of bullets fired this time but again thankfully no bystanders hit.
