Hart to LV was strictly to give him some work over the break. Gonna be the hart/stollie show for the future who knows about nuvy and elliot , im sure theyll make it back on the bench at some point this year(hopefully not as flyers)

yeah i feel like fletcher is willing to ride the young guys and elliot and neuvy could be deadline chips that probably wouldnt fetch a whole lot but are fairly low risk and could draw some interests
maybe just elliot neuvy has been pretty meh he will probably in the team suite as the 3rd goalie until an injury lol

https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/flyers/sources-carter-hart-will-stick-flyers-rest-season

Carter Hart and Anthony Stolarz will be the 1-2 punch in net coming out of the Flyers' bye week. Hart will start Monday against the Jets and Stolarz on Tuesday against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden

On the ice, it’s another juggling act for the coaching staff. They'll have to get work for three different goaltenders as Mike McKenna appears to be the odd-man out.
Both McKenna and Stolarz would have to clear waivers to join the Phantoms.

so hart apparently confirmed to be staying in the nhl and stolarz would need to clear waivers to get sent back down which i doubt they want to risk he would likely get claimed
elliot+neuvy trade bait at deadline and mackenna gets sent down or just rots as 3rd guy in case of injury

Excited to see the shutout by stollie tonight
Even though against a weak rangers team, he stopped aside 37 shots. Glad to see the young guys stepping up in net after we been calling for this goalie duo for majority of the year

Cant imagine them going back to nucy or elliot to backup why would they cant stay healthy and stollie is only getting better

yeah i feel like our goalie situation could have been much better if stolarz didnt have major knee surgery on the same knee twice last 2 seasons hes barely played any hockey so hes still got room to improve his game
but with hart+stolarz i feel like we have our future goalies here now and its nice

Nice to see Stolarz play well but lets be real we were still dominated for most of that game by a sub par Rangers team.

yeahhh we got some good chances but it felt like we had 1/4 lines doing something the rest were just there
0/2 on the pp again ... we shouldnt be 28th in the nhl on the pp with the players we have....

feel like giroux in the middle isnt working either when he was on the lw he seemed to play a lot better and able to create more offense
i get they are trying to shake up the offense but he literally split the line that was working and made lines that arent working lol

long article on the flyers site with fletcher

-"I'm not trading Claude Giroux, that's for sure. We have a lot of good players here but I would never say never to almost anybody besides Giroux.

-In addition to the recent recall of center Mikhail Vorobyev from the Phantoms, Fletcher said he would like to see standout Phantoms second-year defenseman Phillipe Myers get some NHL games this season and also to look at Samuel Morin (AHL surgery rehab) at the NHL level once he is cleared to play and completes a two-week conditioning assignment on the Phantoms.

-If the Flyers are eliminated from the playoff chase this spring, Fletcher said that he would have interest in assigning Hart back to the Phantoms in order to be available for the Calder Cup playoffs. In order to do so, the Flyers would have to make an on-paper move to send Hart to the Phantoms on the AHL playoff roster eligibility deadline -- which directly coincides with the NHL trade deadine -- and then immediately recall him to the NHL roster.

-"I don't expect us to trade a first-round pick for a rental. We could both buy and sell, but I guess my point is, every decision we make, if we're going to try to improve our team going forward and we can get that player now, great. There's always opportunities. So for me it's not the [time before the trade deadline] or even the rest of the year. From this point forward, we have to get better," Fletcher said.

"To be better next year, we may have to try to get better this year. That's what we're trying to do, whether it's the coaches on the ice or adding players, or whatever we have to do. I could see us buying and selling, I guess to use those terms. But the bigger focus is, we'd like to get some pieces in here that will be a part of this for a few years. That's really where my focus has been."

sounds like he really wants to bring up the younger guys on the back end maybe hes trying to trade gudas/amac/folin at deadline because we dont really have slots open
next season is last season for a mac a buyout would be fairly reasonable too if we werent able to trade him

Justin Bailey (@JustinBailey95) is now on a 3-game goal streak (4G) and has 6 points (4G-2A) over his past 7 games with the Phantoms.

so after going 9g-11a in 37gp he comes to the phantoms and does that
