Wonder what happened. Do they actually hate each other or is it some sort of planned strategy to preserve power?

Came out of the blue. Mind you Bill does a really good job at keeping his private life private.

I'm just as curious. More of a what's the point at this stage in life but I dunno

The whole marriage was pretty boogy to begin with imo.

"Sometimes there’s that one small detail about a famous person that sticks with you for years and for me it’s been that Bill Gates negotiated into his marriage the right to take an annual beach house weekend with his ex-girlfriend."

Is it better to get in the market ASAP?

Seriously unsure of what to do.

I think I could probably get a down payment in the 400,000 range but then I’d probably have no extra funds.

Im tired of living at home, love my family, but my overall Freedom, especially Romaric wise is suffering.

Not at all? I was 23yo and got approved for 350. Good enough for me. Next home is the dream home.

Many 'experts' have been calling for the bubble to burst since expo 86. The lower mainland is so desirable to live and there is more demand than their is supply.

I don't see a huge crash ever occurring, even if interest rates go up considerably. Over time the value of your home will only go up as population grows.

If you can afford it somewhat comfortably I would go for it. Even if you can keep saving up living at home there is a chance you will not be able to save fast enough to keep up with rising property values.

Either that or just go hard in the stock market. When you are younger you can take a reasonable amount of risk and you will have a solid return if your time period is 5+ years.

Good for you for not just blowing your disposable income.
