yeah but honestly after last season i dont even think he would go near a ppg in the playoffs
specially  if he sucks in the reg season n gets like bottom 6 ice time

He was on pace to put up similar points to 2 years ago when he had 11 in 9
I guess it just makes sense though, pointless to have a playoff performer on a team that won't make playoffs.

2 years ago he could still shoot
last season if he was regular briere guy woulda had like 20-30 goals
got so many chances he used to give that " hes going to score here feeling" and he normally would
last season i got that a lot n but they never went in he was missing perfect snipe chances he would cash 80% of the time easy tap ins that would be a sure goal by him ...nothin

Sometimes you just need to move on. Good luck to him.

You have a very generous view of the world then. And that surprises me.

I wish him all the best. He's been through a lot, but never bitched once. He has been a clutch player for many years with us, and I wish there was a way we could keep him on.

hes prob became one of the fan favs with his playoff performances but with his play and high cap hit... hes not worth having on the team if he cant put up points in the reg season to reach the playoffs tho
its kinda like gagne.. nobody wanted him to go but he was making like 5m n we couldnt afford it... hes back tho and wants an extension.. prob finish out in philly :D

i hope he does good on his new team tho towards the end he seemed to pick up his play a bit but it was still below regular danny b play
